Global AI Governance Lead

What You Will Do

The Global AI Governance Lead is a senior position responsible for establishing, overseeing, and continuously improving the governance framework for the organization's AI strategy and solutions. This role ensures that all AI initiatives adhere to our strategy, ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices, while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. The Governance Lead will build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse, global community of stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and facilitator. The ideal candidate is structured, diplomatic, and highly knowledgeable in both AI technologies and governance principles.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive AI governance framework aligned with corporate strategy and global standards.

Monitor compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements for AI solutions.

Establish clear policies, processes, and metrics for AI project evaluation, risk management, and performance tracking.

Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among business units, technical teams, and external partners.

Serve as the primary point of contact for AI governance matters, representing the organization in industry forums and regulatory discussions.

Build and nurture a strong community of AI practitioners, champions, and stakeholders.

Provide guidance and training on responsible AI practices and governance.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, or other related field.

8+ years of experience in governance, compliance, or risk management, preferably in AI or technology-driven environments.

Deep understanding of governance models and value flow optimization. Proven ability to design and implement governance structures in large, complex organizations.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Experienced leadership style, with a reputation for integrity and expertise.
