Job Title : ETL Developer (MSBI + ADF)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MSBI ETL Developer with strong expertise in SSIS, SQL Server, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) . The role involves designing, building, and supporting enterprise ETL pipelines, data integration workflows, and cloud-based data engineering solutions. You will collaborate closely with technical stakeholders to ensure high-quality, scalable, and optimized data processes.

Key Responsibilities

ETL Design & Development

Develop robust ETL workflows using SSIS, SQL Server, and Power BI .

Build end-to-end ETL / ELT pipelines based on business and architectural requirements.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy.

SQL Development

Strong hands-on expertise in :

T-SQL development (DML / DDL)

Stored procedures, functions, triggers

Query optimization & indexing

Execution plans & performance tuning

Bulk data operations & import / export

Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Develop complex ADF pipelines , mapping data flows, datasets, and linked services.

Migrate SSIS packages into ADF and manage SHIR (Self-hosted Integration Runtime).

Configure pipeline triggers (schedule, event-based, tumbling window).

Optimize performance for high-volume cloud data pipelines.

Collaboration & Processes

Work with data architects, DBAs, business analysts, and data consumers.

Maintain technical documents including data mapping sheets, lineage, and pipeline logic.

Implement CI / CD pipelines and version control using Git.

Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot ETL / ADF processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

5–7 years of strong MSBI ETL development experience.

Expertise in SSIS, SQL Server, Power BI .

Strong T-SQL experience with stored procedures, triggers, indexing, execution plans.

Hands-on Azure Data Factory experience—pipelines, data flows, linked services.

Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, star schema .

Strong debugging, optimization, and analytical skills.

Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills / Good to Have

Experience in US Healthcare domain.

Knowledge of Tableau, Cognos Reporting .

Experience with Salesforce data integrations.

Exposure to additional BI / Analytics tools.
