Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor student attendance, behavior, and academic performance to identify at-risk students.
- Collaborate with teachers and counselors to develop student support plans and interventions.
- Coordinate tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment programs to enhance student achievement.
- Engage parents / guardians in student progress and school involvement efforts.
- Connect students and families with community resources such as mental health services, food assistance, or after-school programs.
- Organize workshops or events focused on study skills, college readiness, and social-emotional learning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and communication.
- Support school-wide initiatives that promote equity, inclusion, and academic success.
- Analyze student data and provide regular reports to leadership teams.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.2+ years of experience in education, youth development, or student services.Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work with diverse student populations and stakeholders.Proficiency in using data to drive decisions and track progress.Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in Education, School Counseling, or Social Work.Experience with case management or school-based intervention programs.Familiarity with education equity practices and trauma-informed care.Bilingual abilities are a plus.Skills Required
