Role : Software Engineer – ServiceNow ITSM
Exp : 7+ Years
Location : Bangalore
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
Serve as a technical expert and mentor within the team, setting direction and making key architectural decisions.
Lead by example in designing and implementing robust, scalable software solutions.
Promote best practices in software engineering, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
Project Delivery & Collaboration
Partner with engineering managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software aligned with business priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define goals, prioritise work, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organisation.
Team Culture & Continuous Improvement
Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that values collaboration, innovation, and learning.
Refine engineering practices and drive continuous improvement across the team.
Regularly report on team health, project status, and identify areas for growth and support.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
Proven ability to lead and mentor other engineers.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective solutions.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Passion for software engineering and continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Node.js, Glide Script, Jelly, and AngularJS.
Experience with ServiceNow platform development and ServiceNow Studio.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Experience with DevOps practices, including CI / CD pipelines.
Understanding of software design patterns and scalable architecture.
Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
