Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and implement cloud solutions leveraging GCP services based on real migration and modernization projects.
  • Work extensively with GCP services including Cloud Run, PostgreSQL, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Pub / Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Secret Manager, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, DNS, CDN, and Apigee.
  • Develop and maintain microservices and APIs using Java and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.
  • Apply API and microservice design principles to build scalable and efficient cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customers and internal development teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Support application migration and modernization efforts on GCP.
  • Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance on cloud best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong hands-on experience with the GCP services mentioned above in the context of migration or cloud-native projects.
  • Proficient in Java programming and frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of API and microservice design and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers and technical teams.
  • Ability to handle end-to-end project delivery and provide technical leadership.

    • Good to Have :

  • Experience in application migration and modernization on GCP.
  • GCP Associate or Professional Cloud certifications.
