Strategic Planning & Analysis Associate

About the Role

We are hiring an Associate for the Strategy & Planning Office — for someone who brings strong financial literacy, structured thinking, and the ability to convert complex business and technology inputs into crisp, investor-ready outputs.

This is a hybrid role spanning fundraising support, strategic communication, AI-enabled research, and high-quality documentation. You will often be the coordination point for investors, bankers, and external partners.

About the Reporting Manager – Member of the Board

You will work directly with a Board Member who has built and scaled ventures across technology, consumer, and defence sectors. He works closely with investors, bankers, and leadership teams on strategy, valuation, organisational structuring, and long-term planning.

This role gives you unprecedented exposure to multi-business strategy and investor-facing communication.

1. Strong Financial & Fundraising Literacy

Cap tables, SAFE / CCD, ESOP logic, dilution math, valuations, DD checklists, data rooms, investor memos.

2. Technical Comprehension + Translation Ability

High-level understanding of APIs, architecture, AI / LLM concepts, ability to translate complexity into simple language.

3. Structured Thinking + First-Principles Problem Solving

Framework clarity, ability to convert scattered inputs into clean, structured outputs.

4. Narrative & Storytelling Capability

Pitch structure, “why now”, investor logic, concise writing.

5. High-Quality Research Ability

Global benchmarks, regulatory shifts, TAM expansion, investor theses.

6. Intelligence + Ownership + Discretion

Behaves like a Chief of Staff in training. Bias for action, confidentiality, reliability.

7. Communication & Stakeholder Coordination

Investor communication, follow-ups, structured updates, professional representation.
