Job descriptionEducation : A bachelor's degree is a minimum, with a master's degree in public health (MPH) being highly beneficial for professional roles. Experience : Prior experience in health programs, research, or policy development is often required. Technical skills : A strong understanding of epidemiology, biostatistics, and health systems management is essential. Soft skills : Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are crucial for interacting with diverse groups and managing public health challenges.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :
- Disease outbreak investigation : Monitoring and responding to outbreaks on campus.
- Health program development : Creating and implementing initiatives for things like health education, vaccination campaigns, and wellness programs.
- Policy development : Working to create and enforce health and safety policies for students and staff.
- Data analysis : Using public health data to identify trends and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
- Community outreach : Educating the campus community on health topics and providing resources.
