Liferay Developer

Job Purpose / Summary :

The Senior Liferay Developer / Architect is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade portals and web applications using Liferay DXP. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Java, Liferay frameworks, and integration capabilities, along with the ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of Liferay-based portals, themes, portlets, hooks, and extensions.
• Customize and configure Liferay to meet project and business requirements.
• Integrate Liferay with third-party systems via REST, SOAP, or custom APIs.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best coding practices.
• Collaborate with UI / UX, backend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment plans, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Stay updated with Liferay's latest features and roadmap for effective solutioning.
