to join our Response editorial team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ideating, rewriting, editing, proofreading pages, overseeing / managing production processes, and adhering to deadlines

Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas)

Handle all work emanating from the Response Editorial team (including ideation, copy editing, planning stories and Pages and release of editions)

Must have excellent editing skills and be good at the desk

Must adhere to Page release deadlines

Must be adept at research and fact-checking

Work closely with the edit and design teams

Ensure a smooth production process and an error-free final product

Will work closely with the marketing team

Collaborate with editors and writers to develop story ideas and angles.

Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility.

Meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Stay updated on current events, trends, and developments relevant to the publication’s focus.

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.

10-15 years
