KaaryaConnect is a growing startup focused on connecting households and communities with trusted, traditional service providers - purohits, astrologers, caterers, photographers, decorators, musicians, and more. We are building a digital ecosystem that respects Sanatana Dharma, local culture, and trust, while delivering a simple, app-based experience across India.

We are a product-first, design-conscious team working across web and mobile apps, onboarding, and digital campaigns. As we scale provider onboarding and customer acquisition, we are looking for a freelance Graphic & Video Designer to own our visual storytelling across platforms.

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on graphic and video designer who can create :

• Short promotional videos and reels
• App explainer and onboarding videos (screen-record + overlays)
• Posters, banners, thumbnails, and performance creatives for digital campaigns
• Consistent visual assets aligned with our brand, in collaboration with UI / UX designers and developers

You will work closely with the Onboarding & Field Marketing Manager , UI / UX team , and Founders to support provider onboarding, marketing campaigns, and in-app communication.

Role Description

In this role, you will :

• Own the end-to-end creative output for video, static, and motion graphics .
• Convert product flows, app screens, and onboarding journeys into clear, engaging explainer videos .
• Support the onboarding team with creatives for provider recruitment, training, and communication.
• Work with the UI / UX and development teams to ensure brand consistency across app, website, and social media.
• Adapt creatives for multiple channels - Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, LinkedIn, website, and in-app banners.

This role is ideal for someone who is independent, fast, and comfortable working with early-stage startups .

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create short-form videos and reels (15-60 seconds) explaining :
• How providers sign up and onboard
• Key benefits and features of the KaaryaConnect app
• Campaigns, offers, and success stories
• Design posters, social media posts, story cards, thumbnails, and banners for :
• Provider onboarding campaigns
• Festive and event-based promotions
• Brand awareness and engagement content
• Work with the product team to :
• Design and refine screens for tutorials (screen capture + overlays, callouts, labels)
• Highlight flows like login, profile creation, pricing setup, and calendar management
• Collaborate with UI / UX designers to :
• Maintain brand guidelines (colors, fonts, iconography, imagery style)
• Ensure assets are production-ready for web and mobile
• Coordinate with the Onboarding & Field Marketing Manager to :
• Develop creatives for offline / online outreach
• Support field campaigns with posters, flyers, and simple explainer videos
• Manage and organize design files, video assets, and templates for reuse.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design and video editing (agency, startup, freelance, or in-house).
• Strong portfolio showcasing :
• Social media creatives
• Short explainer or promo videos
• Basic motion graphics / text animation
• Proficiency with design and video tools such as :
• Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / XD or Figma
• Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci / CapCut (or equivalent)
• Ability to :
• Take a rough idea or product flow and convert it into clean, simple visuals
• Add clear on-screen text, highlights, and pointers during screen recordings
• Design for mobile-first audiences (Reels, Shorts, Stories, WhatsApp creatives)
• Strong sense of layout, typography, spacing, and color balance.
• Comfortable working with remote teams , taking feedback, iterating quickly, and managing deadlines.
