Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Order Management (SOM) professional with 7+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and implementing complex order lifecycle solutions . This role requires hands-on technical leadership, strong integration knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance Salesforce SOM solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement end-to-end Salesforce SOM solutions (objects, workflows, orchestration flows).
- Build orchestration flows for order capture, fulfilment, cancellations, returns, and payments.
- Develop automation using Flow, Apex, Composite APIs for complex order management.
- Integrate SOM with ERP, WMS, SFCC, Payment Gateways using REST / SOAP APIs.
- Ensure scalable data models and maintain data integrity.
- Provide technical leadership : mentoring developers, code reviews, best practices.
- Troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and implement optimizations.
- Stay updated on latest Salesforce SOM releases and recommend adoption strategies.
- Define and implement custom logic for split shipments, backorders, refunds, returns, etc.
- Drive Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ceremonies.
Technical Skills Required :
Strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce SOM and Data Models.Proficiency in :
Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), Aura, SOQL, SOSLFlow Builder, Orchestration Flow DesignerPlatform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC)API Integration (REST / SOAP), OAuth2, JWT, Named CredentialsSalesforce DX, Git, CI / CD pipelinesExperience with Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud (B2B / B2C), Sales Cloud.Understanding of PCI compliance, fraud management, SCA.Exposure to middleware tools like MuleSoft / Dell Boomi is a plus.Salesforce certifications (Order Management Accredited Professional, PD1 / PD2, Integration Architecture Designer) are highly desirable.(ref : hirist.tech)
