We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef for the Continental Section to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing and cooking a variety of Continental dishes, along with excellent leadership skills to assist in managing kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food preparation.
- Prepare and cook Continental dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
Skills and Qualifications
4-6 years of experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment.Proficient in preparing a variety of Continental dishes.Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Ability to follow recipes and presentation specifications accurately.Skills Required
