DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a remote Mid-level DevOps Engineer with strong API experience to own the build and run of secure, scalable APIs on Azure.

ou’ll work across design, development, deployment, and operations — ensuring our API platform is robust, observable, and production-ready. You’ll collaborate with software engineers, architects, and AI specialists to integrate modern Azure AI services where they add value.

This role is perfect for someone with a .NET background , strong Azure DevOps skills , and a passion for API lifecycle management and cloud automation .

Core Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain REST and SOAP services using .NET Core or .NET Framework
• Publish, secure, and govern APIs through Azure API Management (APIM) with policies for transformation, caching, routing, and authentication
• Deploy and operate cloud workloads including Azure Functions , Web Apps , Container Apps , AKS , API Gateway , and WAF
• Implement and enforce security best practices including OAuth 2.0 , mutual TLS (mTLS) , SSL / TLS , RBAC , and secure API design principles
• Automate CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps with infrastructure as code ( Bicep , Terraform , or ARM templates )
• Monitor and troubleshoot using Application Insights , Log Analytics , and Azure Monitor , with alerts and dashboards for production visibility
• Integrate Azure AI services such as OpenAI , AI Search , and Document Intelligence into backend APIs where appropriate
• Debug issues end-to-end across application, infrastructure, and network layers in hybrid (cloud + on-premise) environments
• Provide operational support for selected on-prem workloads (e.g., IIS and Java servers)
• Align API design with frontend SPA consumers (e.g., Angular , React ), including CORS and versioning considerations.
