Roles & Responsibilities :

We are looking for a Storage Administrator who will be responsible for

• LUN creation / deletion / modification on VMAX / Unity / Pure arrays
• Configure and create Meta devices, StorageGroup / PortGroup / MaskingView,allocate / reclaim storage to / from hosts on Storage arrays.
• Handling and troubleshooting storage operation issues.
• Troubleshooting Performance Issues on Storage arrays and Brocade SAN switches.
• Performing clean up activity on storage arrays on regular basis.
• Deleting unwanted volumes on storage array post doing verification and analysis with Platform and DB teams.
• Setting up the Local Replication using Time Finder / Clone & Time Finder / Snap on VMAX
• AppSync Operations for snapshot and and update plugins on hosts).
• Troubleshoot App synch related issues like service plan failure and login issues.
• Performing Host based migrations from one Storage to another storage array.
• VMAX, Unity, ISILION, Pure and Power store storage firmware upgrade.
• Creating and modifying SMB / NFS.
• Troubleshooting the access related issues on SMB / NFS shares.
• Performing Fabric Zoning on Brocade SAN witches(add / remove / modify).
• Brocade SAN Switch maintenance.
• Keeping the Hardware maintained by performing health checks on regular basis.
• following up with the vendors to replace the Falty hardware components in the environment.
• Preparing and keep updating SOPs / documents for all the processes and issues encountered in the environment.
• Proactively doing patching and upgrades to avoid the issues like bug in a OS or any security issues.
• Automating the repetitive tasks.
