US Tax Reviewer- Individual Tax

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a US Tax Reviewer - Individual Tax at FinloTax in Bengaluru. The role involves reviewing and analyzing individual tax returns, interpreting tax laws, and providing tax advice to clients. The Tax Reviewer will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications

• 5 to 6 years of experience in preparation and reviewing form 1040 and necessary schedule
• Experience in handling complex tax returns such as PFIC, RSU / ESPP / Stock Options
• Experience in handling Schedule C, D, rental incomes (Schedule E) and Schedule K1
• FBAR, FATCA and Form 5471 filings
• Self learning and research complex tax topics
• Notice handling and prepare responses to IRS and respective state departments
• Experience in handling multi state tax returns
• Supervise and train the tax preparers
• Knowledge of Tax Law and Regulations
• Experience in handling complex Tax returns
• Sale of primary house and investment property computations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Drake tax software is plus
• EA or relevant certification is a plus
