We are looking for a seasoned Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry, excellent SQL skills, and a solid understanding of data warehouses and analytics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and is passionate about driving business value through data and systems analysis.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct stakeholder analysis, estimate requirements, and lead technical / system analysis.
- Drive requirements gathering activities aligned with business priorities.
- Manage stakeholder relationships throughout the product lifecycle.
- Write comprehensive business and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with QA teams on test strategy and execution.
- Define product backlog, sprint backlog, user stories, system diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
- Plan and execute change management across the product lifecycle.
- Create user guides and training materials.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Lead one or more data PODs to deliver business outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Behavioral Requirements
Strong experience in Agile methodologies and a product mindset.Technical expertise in data modeling, data analysis, and data mapping.Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills.Deep understanding of P&C Insurance, including Claims Processing, Underwriting, Reinsurance, Billing, and Policy / Form Generation.Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
