What to expect in the job as Technical Engineer in After Sales / Service :

The Technical Engineer - After Sales / Service is responsible for providing comprehensive post-sales support to customers across various industries. The role involves supervision of equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, spare parts coordination, and customer training. The Engineer ensures seamless service delivery, adherence to quality standards, and maximization of customer satisfaction.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Service Operations

  • Plan, execute, and supervise installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of CF & PD pumps.
  • Ensure compliance with company service standards, safety guidelines, and customer expectations.
  • Manage site manpower and subcontractors for timely execution of service activities.

Customer Support & Troubleshooting.

  • Provide technical guidance to customers to resolve equipment-related issues efficiently.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for service challenges and ensure quick resolution.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding service progress, schedules, and downtime management.

    • Spare Parts & Warranty Management

  • Coordinate spare parts planning and ordering to ensure availability.
  • Handle warranty cases in line with company policies and follow up with internal teams.
  • Promote preventive maintenance contracts and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) packages to customers.

    • Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Production teams for smooth handover and execution of projects.
  • Provide feedback on recurring technical issues to support product design and quality improvements.

    • Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain service reports, commission documents, and customer acknowledgement forms.
  • Generate monthly reports on service KPIs such as MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), response time, and customer satisfaction ratings.

    • Training & Development

  • Conduct product training sessions for customers, channel partners, and junior service engineers.
  • Support skill development of service team members by mentoring and coaching.

    • What We Expect From You

  • BE / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics
  • 6years of experience in after-sales / service roles, preferably in pumps, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery
  • Strong knowledge of installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of pumps and motors
  • Familiarity with electrical starters (DOL, Star-Delta, Soft Starters, VFDs) and control systems
  • Excellent communication, customer handling, and problem-solving skills
