Job descriptionSAP Basis Administration SAP HANA CHaRM (Change Request Management) System Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning Transport Management Backup & Recovery User / Role Administration Location Experience SAP System Administration : Perform core SAP Basis Administration tasks including system installation, configuration, patching, kernel upgrades, and regular maintenance across various SAP components (ECC, S / 4HANA, BW, SolMan, etc. SAP HANA Management : Manage and maintain the SAP HANA database environment, including installation, configuration, replication setup, performance monitoring, and advanced troubleshooting specific to the in-memory database. Change & Release Management : Utilize SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) CHaRM (Change Request Management) processes for managing and governing all changes across the SAP landscape, ensuring adherence to release schedules and quality standards. System Performance : Proactively conduct System Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning activities for the application server (ABAP / Java) and database layers to ensure optimal system response times and availability. Transport Management : Oversee and manage the Transport Management System (TMS), including configuring transport routes, troubleshooting transport errors, and ensuring the integrity of changes moving through the landscape. Data Protection : Implement and manage robust Backup & Recovery strategies for all SAP systems and associated databases (HANA, Oracle, etc.), ensuring data integrity and business continuity (DR planning and testing). Security Administration : Manage User / Role Administration using standard SAP security tools, including profile generation, role assignment, and regular security audits to ensure compliance and proper segregation of duties. Experience : 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Basis Consultant. Expertise in SAP Basis Administration across different SAP platforms. Strong practical experience with SAP HANA database administration and optimization. Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager CHaRM (Change Request Management). Proven ability in system Performance Tuning, Monitoring, and Troubleshooting. Solid understanding of Transport Management and Backup & Recovery procedures. Experience with User / Role Administration and SAP security best practices. Availability : Must be an Immediate Joiner (or maximum notice period of 15 days). Soft Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities to interact with technical and functional teams
