Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Spandana Hospital in Bangalore. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of our facility's equipment and systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in HVAC systems knowledge (Mandatory skill) to ensure optimal environmental conditions within the facility.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting (Mandatory skill) for diagnosing and solving electrical issues.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies to anticipate equipment failures and prevent downtime.
  • Experience in PLC troubleshooting for maintaining automation systems and resolving related issues.
  • Competence in performing root cause analysis to identify underlying problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software for managing maintenance schedules and tracking equipment status efficiently.
  • Ability to perform mechanical systems repair to ensure all hospital equipment operates optimally.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance process efficiency and minimize waste in operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of hospital facilities, including HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules using CMMS software to reduce the risk of equipment failure.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt hospital operations.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and repairs for compliance and auditing purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations when performing maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability of hospital equipment and systems.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance staff as needed to support their professional development.
