Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Spandana Hospital in Bangalore. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of our facility's equipment and systems.

Qualifications and Skills

Expertise in HVAC systems knowledge (Mandatory skill) to ensure optimal environmental conditions within the facility.
Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting (Mandatory skill) for diagnosing and solving electrical issues.
Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies to anticipate equipment failures and prevent downtime.
Experience in PLC troubleshooting for maintaining automation systems and resolving related issues.
Competence in performing root cause analysis to identify underlying problems and implement effective solutions.
Knowledge of CMMS software for managing maintenance schedules and tracking equipment status efficiently.
Ability to perform mechanical systems repair to ensure all hospital equipment operates optimally.
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance process efficiency and minimize waste in operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of hospital facilities, including HVAC and electrical systems.

Diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs to maintain operational efficiency.

Implement preventive maintenance schedules using CMMS software to reduce the risk of equipment failure.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance activities do not disrupt hospital operations.

Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and repairs for compliance and auditing purposes.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations when performing maintenance tasks.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability of hospital equipment and systems.

Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance staff as needed to support their professional development.
