Job Summary
The Electrical Foreman will supervise and manage all electrical installation works at the project site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, manpower management, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Installation & Site Execution
- Supervise installation of electrical systems including conduits, trunking, cabling, lighting, switchgear, DBs, SMDBs, MCCs, and power distribution.
- Ensure work is executed as per DEWA regulations, project specifications, and approved shop drawings.
- Inspect electrical installations to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Manpower & Site Coordination
Lead and manage a team of electricians, helpers, and subcontractors.Allocate daily tasks and monitor manpower productivity.Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other MEP teams for smooth workflow.Report daily progress and issues to the Site Engineer / Project Manager.Quality Control & Documentation
Ensure accurate execution of electrical work to avoid rework.Conduct inspections before and after installation.Maintain documentation including daily logs, materials used, and work progress.Safety & Compliance
Ensure all electrical works comply with safety procedures and UAE regulations.Conduct toolbox talks and enforce PPE compliance.Identify and report potential safety hazards.Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.5–10 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman, preferably in GCC.Experience in commercial, residential, and industrial project execution.Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, load distribution, and installation methods.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.Familiarity with DEWA standards and UAE electrical regulations.Soft Skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities.Good communication and reporting skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.Preferred
GCC experience, preferably UAE.Knowledge of testing & commissioning procedures.Understanding of local authority approvals (DEWA, DCD, etc.).Benefits
