Essential Qualifications and Education :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant field)
- 6 years of experience in offshore hook-up activities within the EPCI industry
- Proficient knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (eg, API, ASME, IEC, NEC)
- Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Exhibit leadership skills within own discipline & assist trainee engineers / freshers
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Certified in relevant safety and environmental regulations (eg, OSHA, HSE) is preferred
Key Tasks and Responsibilities :
Read, understand and implement the Company s Health Safety Environmental and Quality Policy and the arrangements described in the Company Management SystemParticipate in and provide field guidance for pre-engineering and pre-construction surveysReview drawings for constructability and identify any specific issues and coordinates resolutionReview & formulize discipline scope of work, schedules and specifications Understands the deliverable requirementsReview the material requisitions in compliance with project specifications prior to orderDevelop and issue final Hook-up construction work packsMonitor scope changes and inputs to DTCMS / CATEnsure all engineering deliverables (drawings, materials, and procedures) are available for hook up executionPrepare hook up task sheets and reviews task sheets as appropriateEnsure efficient sequencing of HU activities & reviews hook up schedules synchronizing with other disciplinesEnable resource forecast & manpower loadingsManage the timely delivery of documentation, fabrication, materials, personnel and vendors aligned to Hook-up scheduleProvide field guidance and ensures compliance with Company specificationCoordinate materials with load-out plans at yards & ship to offshore locations in optimum vessel sortiesTravel to different region facilities onshore / offshore to assist project team and coordinate execution aligned to project scheduleMonitor and report implementation related changes and growth during the course of the project specifically related to hook upParticipate with HAZID discussion and asset incidents / hazards investigations and communicate findings to PMT and Senior HU EngineerPrepare comprehensive technical reports, checklists, and documentation to capture all relevant activities, observations, and outcomes throughout the hook-up processProvide regular progress updates to project stakeholders, highlighting any significant milestones, challenges, or deviations from project plansExecute hook-up activities on assigned projects, following project schedules, procedures, and safety guidelinesProvide technical support and guidance to project teams during the planning and execution phasesEnsure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, regulations, and contractual requirementsParticipate in project review meetings to provide insights and feedback for process improvementOversee and manage all hook-up activities by project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulationsCollaborate with project stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of all hook-up activitiesCoordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of hook-up activitiesSkills Required
