Job Description

  • Design and implementation of a new event-based backend application
  • Design and implementation of supporting frontend application
  • The application is mission critical for SD Worx Belgium and will require high throughput and 24 / 7 reliability. The entire stack must be designed and built for performance, quality, testability and scalability.
  • Design and integration of REST API
  • Creation of continuous integration and deployment (CICD) pipelines

    • Skills

    At least more than five years' experience with :

  • ASP.NET MVC CORE framework, or a relevant frontend technology
  • C# back-end programming language
  • Queuing and eventing mechanisms, such as nServicebus
  • Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
  • Azure DevOps & Cloud Services
  • Entity Framework
  • CSS preprocessors
  • Integrate with data storage solutions such as SQL Server or DB2.
  • Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
  • Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficiency with Git or another version control system as required
  • Collaborate with product owner, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Appreciation for clean and well documented code
