Job Description – Development Quality Triaging Engineer (AR & Wearables)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Development Quality Triaging Engineer to manage Quality workflow that combines manual + AI-augmented processes to provide a comprehensive analysis of internally reported issues, transforming raw reports into actionable Engineering tasks. The goal is to identify, analyze, prioritize, and communicate bugs and feedback effectively, enabling efficient resolution and continuous improvement.

- Perform first-level analysis of defects, validating severity, reproducibility, and technical impact before engineering engagement.
- Collect and interpret system / device logs, crash dumps, and performance telemetry to isolate issues.
- Reproduce defects in lab environments and provide reproducible test cases with detailed steps.
- Drive bug triaging sessions with engineering teams, ensuring accurate categorization (hardware, OS, SDK, app).
- Support RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and confirm fix validation post-engineering release.
- Debug AR-specific issues (spatial mapping, SLAM, gesture / voice recognition, rendering artifacts).
- Debug wearable-specific issues (biometric sensors, app pairing, battery / charging anomalies).
- Investigate connectivity failures : Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS with diagnostic tools.
- Contribute to and improve the Knowledge Base (KB) with engineering-level insights.
- Track and manage bugs using industry-standard defect management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, GitHub Issues).
