QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Role Description

This is a contract role for a QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) located in Toronto, ON. The QA Engineer will be responsible for executing test cases, performing manual testing, and ensuring the quality of software through various testing methods. In this role, the engineer will develop, maintain, and execute test plans, participate in the identification and resolution of issues, and work closely with the development team to ensure optimal performance and reliability of software products.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in manual testing (test case design, execution, defect reporting)
• Proficiency in automation testing with Playwright
• Hands-on experience with C# and TypeScript
• Knowledge of Minikube and Docker for test environments
• Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and QA best practices
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work overlapping with USA time zones (Good to have)
