Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Developer with deep expertise in query development, optimization, and large-scale database performance tuning. The ideal candidate excels in analytical thinking, understands relational database internals, and can work closely with application teams to ensure high-performing, reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Query Development & Optimization : Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Performance Analysis : Review existing queries and database structures to identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Database Design : Develop and maintain logical and physical data models for both transactional and analytical environments.
• Data Integrity & Security : Ensure data consistency, integrity, and adherence to security best practices.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to query performance, deadlocks, and inefficient indexing.
• Cross-Team Collaboration : Partner with application developers and architects to align backend and database performance.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for schemas, queries, tuning steps, and architectural decisions.
