Desired or preferred experience and technical skills

  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to embrace a culture of collaboration and support team members.
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives and green building practices.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Required Qualification and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in BE / B Tech in Electrical Engineering with 10 + years experience in Facilities Maintenance.
  • Contract Administration experience of 5 yrs or more required.
  • Excellent people management skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands;
  • Demonstrated experience with tendering and service improvement initiatives required;
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements;
  • Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems;
  • Demonstrated experience with client reporting and preparation of reports required.
  • Works in 6 working days / week on rotational shift basis
