Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with extensive experience in Guidewire development, particularly with EdgeAPI and portal technologies like ReactJS and Jutro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining various business applications leveraging Guidewire EdgeAPI. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Guidewire EdgeAPI to facilitate seamless integration between Guidewire applications and external portals, customizing and extending Guidewire APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain Guidewire EdgeAPI to facilitate seamless integration between Guidewire applications (like PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter) and EnterpriseEngage (ProducerEngage, CustomerEngage, etc.) or external portals.

Extend data models, create GOSU components, plugins, handlers, annotations, and validations.

Hands-on work with front-end technologies like ReactJS and GW Jutro.

Customize and extend Guidewire APIs by creating new endpoints or modifying existing ones to meet specific business requirements.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Implement best practices for EdgeAPI and performance optimization.

Test, debug, and troubleshoot issues related to EdgeAPI functionality.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies regarding data security and privacy.

Document EdgeAPI specifications and provide training / support to other development teams as needed.

Stay current with Guidewire updates, API enhancements, and industry trends.

Requirements :

7.5+ years of proven experience in Guidewire development, particularly with EdgeAPI and portal technologies (ReactJS and Jutro).

Ability to develop Personal / Commercial lines LOBs independently.

Strong expertise in the Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting, UI, Data Model, ReactJS).

Experience with SQL, H2 databases, and SCM tools like GIT.

Skilled in web services (SOAP / REST), XML, JSON.

Understanding of Guidewire core products and integration points.

Effective troubleshooting and integration issue resolution.

Agile / Scrum project experience.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have :

Guidewire certification on Digital Integration.

Knowledge of the Guidewire Cloud platform.
