Position Description :

  • The Senior Analyst – Data Engineering & Analytics role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about transforming complex enterprise data into actionable insights.
  • The position combines hands-on SQL development, data engineering, and analytics expertise to design and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions across both on-premise and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
  • The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a strong understanding of ETL pipelines, data modeling, and reporting tools, capable of collaborating across global teams.
  • This role provides a chance to directly influence business decision-making through data-driven insights and contribute to building a modern, cloud-enabled analytics ecosystem.

Key Skills

Core Technical Skills

  • Databases : Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB
  • SQL Development : Advanced SQL (CTEs, Window Functions, Dynamic SQL, Index Tuning, Query Optimization)
  • Data Engineering : ETL / ELT Processes, Data Pipelines, Data Marts, Data Lakes, Schema & Model Design
  • ETL Tools : Informatica IICS, IBM DataStage (or similar)
  • Cloud Platforms : Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub / Sub, Data Fusion)
  • Data Modeling : Dimensional Modeling, Star / Snowflake Schemas, Data Dictionaries

    • Reporting & Visualization

  • Analytics Tools : Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects (BO), SSRS
  • Dashboarding & Reporting : Interactive Dashboards, Paginated Reports, Data Storytelling
  • ERP / HR Data Experience : HCM Systems, BI Publisher (BIP) Reports

  • CI / CD & Version Control : Git, DevOps, Cloud Build / Run, Tekton
  • Security Principles : RBAC, Data Masking, Encryption, Secure-by-Design
