Job Title : AbInitio Developer
Location : India (On-Site)
Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using Ab Initio.
- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements.
- Build and optimize data integrations and pipelines for high performance.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data quality issues.
- Perform data profiling and implement appropriate transformations.
- Engage in solution design and recommend best practices for ETL development.
- Maintain documentation of existing processes and configurations.
- Perform unit testing and assist with system testing.
- Participate in code reviews and suggest improvements.
- Monitor jobs and ensure timely delivery of data to stakeholders.
- Provide support for data-related inquiries from business users.
- Work with version control systems for code management.
- Stay updated with Ab Initio features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project initiatives.
- Train junior developers on ETL best practices and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.3+ years of experience in Ab Initio development.Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.Proficient in SQL and relational database management.Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.Familiarity with Unix / Linux environments.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience with data modeling tools is a plus.Knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred.Ability to adapt to new technologies and frameworks.Certification in data management or related areas is a plus.Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.Skills : analytical skills,ab initio,etl processes,sql,data warehousing,unix / linux,relational database management,data modeling tools,agile methodologies,data modeling,performance tuning
