This position requires the candidate to have solid accounting concepts and knowledge in month end close and Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Understand the blackline criteria & templates and reconcile General Ledger balances with valid supporting documentation. They need to perform thorough analyses and prepare supporting documentation for research and explanation of variances. Identify any discrepancies, provide corrective action plan to resolve open items. They need to support Business Segments during month / quarter close activities, preparing and posting journal entries, extracting reports from multiple systems for analysis etc. They should assess and interpret customer need and requirements and identifies solution to non-standard request. Solves moderately complex problems and / or conducts moderately complex Analyses. Works with minimal guidance / or seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks. The candidate should exhibit innovation in process improvement and adaptability to ad-hoc tasks, alongside solid communication and teamwork skills crucial for success. Apart from regular deliverables the role requires supporting ad-hoc projects / initiatives, integration support and stakeholder calls

Balance Account Reconciliations
Month-end AccountingSetting up goals, performance appraisal and having regular 1-0-1Own primary responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of deliverables assignedMaintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reportsReconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close cyclesPrepare journal entries and review accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principlesAnalyzes and prepares financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position.
