Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience with Data Migration Specialist (Data Engineer).
• Work with subject matter experts and team members to identify, define, collate, document and communicate the data migration requirements
• Create mechanism to extract , cleanse , transform , enrich , load and validate data
• Analyse data structures , map data fields , validate data integrity - Work closely with solution architect to define target data model
• Strong experience in data migration, specifically in moving data from Legacy to cloud
• Create working procedure to facilitate the movement of data to the destination storage, ensuring proper handling and processing.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the data throughout the migration process.
• Validate that the processed data meets business requirements and is fit for purpose.
• Experience with Software Development tools eg Toad, Golden, SQL Loader, T-SQL, and / or Import / Export tools;
• Migration of BLOB and Metadata – perform checksums , ensure data integrity
• Experience in independently work on creating migration strategy and scripts with limited documentation and guidance by exploring existing environment and data structures
• Must have experience with the following : Procedural SQL ( eg PL / SQL , PostgresSQL ) , various data loaded eg SQL Loader along with proficiency in document DB , BLOB and associated products such as DynamoDB , S3 etc
• Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on client questions, problems or malfunctions of feed related systems applications;
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, including a wide range of architectures and technologies;
