Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior EHS Manager to support and drive EHS from the construction, install and commissioning stages on one of the largest high-tech industrial infrastructure projects in India. The role will be heavily focused on developing and implementing EHS requirements for a semiconductor facility from construction stage to install and commissioning. Must have experience dealing with construction, chemicals, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Process) systems.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional integration and coordination skills, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple stakeholders and contractors. A strong focus on EHS compliance uncompromising attention to safety, quality, and the ability to manage complex work streams will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide EHS support for planning for construction and delivery of large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
Ensure EHS processes are in place and implemented to ensure stakeholders are aligned in EHS management and compliance.
Engage with EPC contractors, design consultants, and global partners for EHS performance and compliance.
Ensure world-class EHS standards are applied by contractors / stakeholders during all stages from construction to commissioning.
Mentor and support cross-disciplinary teams at site to ensure EHS standards are met.
Qualifications
15+ years of fulltime EHS experience in large-scale industrial construction project, ideally in semiconductor, electronics, refinery, petrochemical, or high-tech manufacturing projects. With a minimum of 5 years at management level.
Excellent knowledge of EHS from construction, install to commissioning stages. Must have experience dealing with construction, chemicals, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Process) systems.
Professional qualification in Health and Safety, at Degree / Diploma level, NEBOSH, BSC, or equivalent level.Plus, ISO auditor qualifications for Safety and Quality
