Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with extensive expertise in ITSM,

ITOM, CMDB, and ITAM. This role involves designing, developing, configuring, and

customizing ServiceNow applications to meet business needs, ensuring adherence to best

practices and platform scalability. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer with

deep knowledge of ServiceNow's data model, scripting, integrations, and automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations.
  • Implement and support ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change,

Knowledge, and Service Catalog.

  • Configure and enhance ITOM functionalities such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event
  • Management, and AIOps.

  • Develop and maintain a robust CMDB, focusing on data accuracy, normalization, and
  • reconciliation.

  • Implement and manage ITAM processes for license compliance and optimization.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and process owners to gather
  • requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and release notes.
  • Support IntegrationHub and APIs for seamless connectivity with third-party systems
  • (e.g., monitoring tools, HR, procurement).

  • Conduct unit testing, ATF automation, and support UAT for ServiceNow releases.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, platform governance, and upgrade-safe
  • configurations.

    Required Skills and Experience :

  • 4–6 years of dedicated ServiceNow development experience.
  • Extensive expertise in ITSM module implementations.
  • Proven experience in ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management).
  • Hands-on experience with CMDB design, population, reconciliation, and health
  • monitoring.

  • Practical exposure to ITAM, including entitlement management, reconciliation, software
  • models, and license optimization.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client / Server scripts, and Business Rules.
  • Experience with IntegrationHub, REST / SOAP APIs, and MID Server deployments.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL v4 practices and enterprise service management.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • CIS certifications in ITSM, ITOM, or SAM.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, and Virtual Agent.
