Key Responsibilities :

  • Install, configure, and administer server operating systems, enterprise applications, and middleware services (Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, IBM MQ).
  • Manage and troubleshoot HPE ProLiant servers, ensuring optimal compute performance and system reliability.
  • Provide L3-level technical support, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for production environments.
  • Participate in infrastructure standardization and contribute to the overall architecture roadmap.
  • Collaborate on technical design, including documentation of requirements, configurations, and design changes.
  • Perform capacity planning, upgrades, and environment optimization for middleware and server platforms.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, including security and change control procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and support partners for design issues, upgrades, and incident resolution.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation of middleware and compute environments.
  • Implement automation and DevOps practices for configuration management and deployment efficiency.

Mandatory Skills :

  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM MQ, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Apache, and Tomcat.
  • In-depth understanding of Linux (RHEL / Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience in HPE ProLiant server management, VMware virtualization, and compute infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Shell scripting and Perl scripting.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, firewalls, load balancers, routing).
  • Ability to handle production environment troubleshooting, including high-availability and performance tuning scenarios.
  • Experience in documentation, capacity planning, and system design.

    • Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

  • Familiarity with Nginx, IIS, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle HTTP Server.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
  • Exposure to cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with middleware and infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
