Senior Associate

Job Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDE-T with Python language to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building robust, scalable test automation frameworks and has deep expertise in Python, database testing, and quality engineering practices. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases through automation and continuous testing.

Desired Skills and experience

5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.

Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.

Proven experience in building modular, scalable test frameworks.

Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and writing / debugging stored procedures.

Experience with RESTful API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or custom Python scripts.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI / CD tools, and test management platforms.

Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Experience with Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar Python-based test frameworks.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.G., JMeter, Locust).

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Candidates having experience with real-time trading applications and / or Fixed income trading and capital markets experience will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include :

Design, develop, and maintain reusable test automation frameworks using Python.

Build and optimize automated test suites for API, UI, and backend services.

Develop and execute SQL queries and stored procedures to validate data integrity and business logic.

Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of new features and drive shift-left testing.

Perform code reviews and mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers.

Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive resolution of defects.

Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives as needed.
