Job Location - Gurgaon

Work Days - 6 days week

Key Responsibilities :

Design, install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL, REDIS database systems.

Good to have skills on MongoDb and / or MySQL but NOT Mandatory

Perform regular database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure efficient and reliable operation.

Monitor and manage database backups, disaster recovery processes, and high availability solutions.

Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database schema designs.

Identify and resolve database performance issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.

Implement and enforce security best practices and access controls to protect data integrity and confidentiality.

Perform database capacity planning and provide recommendations for hardware and infrastructure upgrades.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and errors in a timely manner.

Create and maintain documentation, including database standards, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in PostgreSQL, REDIS(Remote Dictionary Server) technologies.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven work experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in PostgreSQL, REDIS (Mandatory) .

Good to have skills on MongoDB, and SQL Server but not mandatory

Strong knowledge and experience in database administration, performance tuning, and optimization.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with database query optimization.

In-depth understanding of PostgreSQL, REDIS Server architectures, features, and administration tools.

Familiarity with database backup and recovery mechanisms, high availability solutions, and disaster recovery planning.

Experience with database security practices and implementing access controls.

Solid understanding of Linux / Unix and Windows operating systems and command-line tools.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database Services).
