About the Role :

NetAnalytiks Technologies Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AWS Data Engineer to join our team supporting a prestigious European client.

This is a senior-level, client-facing role that demands deep technical expertise in the AWS data stack, strong leadership capabilities, and project management skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting and managing robust data engineering solutions, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality data products.

This role is open to candidates across India and may involve short-term travel to Sweden or Germany.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end data engineering projects, from requirement gathering to deployment and monitoring.
Architect and implement scalable data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Fargate, and CloudWatch.
Design and manage workflow orchestration using Airflow and n8n.
Perform data modeling and transformation using Python, Pandas, and PostgreSQL.
Containerize and deploy data solutions using Docker and AWS Fargate.
Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and client stakeholders.
Lead sprint planning, task allocation, and progress tracking using Agile methodologies.
Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering with a strong focus on AWS technologies.

Proven expertise in AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Fargate, CloudWatch, and Airflow.

Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Pandas for data manipulation.

Proficiency in PostgreSQL and data modeling techniques.

Experience with Docker and container orchestration in cloud environments.

Familiarity with n8n or similar workflow automation tools.

Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing client-facing projects.

Solid understanding of Agile project management and delivery practices.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Engineering graduates from premium institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS, etc.) will be given preference.

Prior experience working with European clients is a plus.

Soft Skills :

Structured and process-oriented approach to work.

Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across distributed teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
