Senior C++ Lead Developer

Epsilon Technologies Group (Epsilon) is a specialist capital-markets technology solutions and services firm helping financial institutions modernize their platforms, risk management, and operations. Our product suite supports advanced valuation, risk, and accounting of complex instruments across fixed income and derivatives markets.

We’re expanding our core valuation, risk, and accounting platform and looking for a senior C++ Lead Developer to contribute to its ongoing development and evolution.

What You’ll Do

Design, implement and maintain modules and features in modern C++ within a Linux environment.

Contribute to both the enhancement of existing codebase and the development of new functionality (feature design and implementation, API development, etc.).

Work with version control (Git, Subversion) and CI / CD tools to support a high-quality engineering process (including unit / integration testing, manual and automated code reviews, etc.).

Integrate with relational databases (Oracle preferred) and deliver high-performance data access, working with industry-standard, and in-house Object-Relational Models.

Build and expose APIs (RESTful, publish / subscribe, Python scripting) to support internal and external consumers.

Collaborate with product, architecture and development teams (India and globally) to ensure deliverables meet functional and non-functional requirements (scalability, reliability, security, performance etc.).

Participate in performance tuning, profiling, and debugging of complex C++ systems, and guide best practices for code maintainability and readability.

What We’re Looking For

6–9+ years of hands-on experience in C++ software development (with strong preference for modern C++).

Demonstrated experience in Linux / Unix environments, relational databases (Oracle or similar), build tools, version control (Git / Subversion).

Solid understanding of multi-threaded programming, memory management, and performance optimisation of large codebases.

Prior experience designing / implementing modules and features in a production system; familiarity with APIs, scripting (Python) and integration between layers.

Experience in the capital markets or financial services domain (fixed income, derivatives, valuation or accounting) is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; self-driven, able to work independently in a small agile team as well as collaborate with global stakeholders.

Preferred Educational Background

B.Tech / BE in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
