Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with expertise in manual and automation testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by conducting thorough testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure optimal software performance.
Perform manual and automated testing for web, desktop, and mobile applications using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
Conduct regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities are unaffected by new updates or enhancements.
Analyze product requirements, system specifications, and code to design test strategies that align with project goals.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Ensure compliance with software development life cycle (SDLC) quality standards and best practices.
Document and report testing phases, defect details, and resolutions clearly and concisely.
Continuously optimize QA processes and explore new methodologies and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
Prepare and set up test environments and test data for seamless execution of testing efforts.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and advancements in software testing and automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience (3+ years) as a QA Tester or similar role in manual and automation testing.

Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and basic programming knowledge (e.g., SQL, Java, or Python).

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and QA principles.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in global teams and multitask effectively.
