This position will be based at Vadodara / Ahmednagar Plant for Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation (A unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.)

Designation : General Manager - New Product Quality Management

Experience : 10 years to 15 years

Education : B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical / Production Engineering)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for Quality management of New Product Development of Electrical Standard Products (ESP).
  • Responsible for implementing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) of all the offers of ESP.
  • Lead Project quality and Offer quality of New product development.
  • Establish and propagate APQP as per IATF 16949 across the NPD project scope. Develop and train team for in depth implementation of APQP.
  • Provide technical and administrative support related to Quality tools and techniques for robust Product development.

Functional Competencies :

  • In depth knowledge of APQP as per IATF standard with multiple cycle of implementation from Phase 1 to Phase 5.
  • In depth knowledge & hands on experience of implementation of Quality tools such as PPAP, PFMEA, SPC and MSA.
  • In depth knowledge & hands on experience of usage of 7 QC tools, 8D, POKA-YOKE, KAIZEN for problem solving.
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes like press working, moulding, welding, breazing, surface treatment, press & machining etc.
  • Project management skill will be an added advantage.
  • Analytical approach, Proficient with working in SAP, Microsoft office tools.
