Senior Platform Architect

Job Description :

As a senior platform architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the architecture of our highly extensible platform. You will drive cross-functional initiatives, mentor engineers, and build backend components that other teams rely on.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of core platform primitives : availability resolution, appointment lifecycles, time zone handling, state-driven workflows
• Architect configuration-driven behavior over hardcoded logic for dynamic rule-based booking flows
• Build scalable services using NestJS, Redis, Firestore, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GCP services like Cloud Tasks, Scheduler, Pub / Sub
• Partner with product managers to translate scheduling needs into developer-facing building blocks
• Drive consistency in API design, configuration modeling, error handling, extensibility
• Collaborate to ensure platform reliability, maintainability, mentor engineers, foster strong culture of platform thinking, technical excellence

Required Skills and Qualifications :

We are looking for an individual with 6+ years of backend engineering experience, at least 2 years in technical leadership roles. A deep understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and scalable microservices is essential. Hands-on expertise in NestJS, Redis, Firestore, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and GCP services is also required.
