Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation and storage.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation and analysis.
• Utilise Apache Spark & Python for data processing, automation and integration with various data sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies that inform business decisions.
• Create and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows and architecture.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering and analysis.
• Provide support using data visualisation tools to help stakeholders interpret data effectively.
