Senior Associate

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in

SQL Server Database Administration . This role is responsible for the provisioning, maintenance, optimization, and decommissioning of databases hosted on on-prem VMs, AWS EC2, and Azure. The DBA will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, resiliency and performance tuning of SQL Server databases.

The ideal candidate will ensure the availability and consistent performance of our applications and databases. This role requires deep relational database knowledge, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. The candidate will demonstrate thought leadership, have a continuous improvement mindset, with the desire to automate processes and reduce manual effort wherever possible.

Database Experience :

• 6 to 7 years of SQL Server Database Administration
• Installation and Configuration : Install and configure SQL Server databases to meet business requirements.
• Performance Monitoring : Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
• Optimization : Perform database tuning using T-SQL and optimize queries.
• Security Management : Implement and manage database security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Backup and Recovery : Conduct regular backups and ensure reliable recovery processes.
• High Availability : Manage SQL AlwaysOn configurations.
• Change Tracking : Implement and manage Change Tracking and Change Data Capture.
• Integration Services : Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Scripting : Utilize PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Additional Database Knowledge : Knowledge of Oracle and Postgres is a plus.
