Chief Equipment Design Specialist

As a Mechanical Engineer with leading expertise in process design and execution, you will be driving the delivery of cutting-edge manufacturing solutions. This innovative project combines continuous photochemistry, crystallization, and solvent recovery at industrial scale.

Key Responsibilities :

• Equipment Sizing and Specification : Conduct thorough equipment sizing and specification (reactors, crystallizers, heat exchangers, filters, dryers, tanks, etc.).
• Review Vendor Drawings : Prepare comprehensive mechanical datasheets and review vendor drawings for compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineers : Collaborate with process and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Evaluate Vendor Quotations : Evaluate vendor quotations and support procurement in technical bid analysis.
• FAT and Installation : Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and assist during installation & commissioning phases.
• Certification Compliance : Ensure all mechanical designs and documents are aligned with cGMP, ASME, API, and US FDA requirements.
