As a Mechanical Engineer with leading expertise in process design and execution, you will be driving the delivery of cutting-edge manufacturing solutions. This innovative project combines continuous photochemistry, crystallization, and solvent recovery at industrial scale.
Key Responsibilities :
- Equipment Sizing and Specification : Conduct thorough equipment sizing and specification (reactors, crystallizers, heat exchangers, filters, dryers, tanks, etc.).
- Review Vendor Drawings : Prepare comprehensive mechanical datasheets and review vendor drawings for compliance.
- Collaborate with Engineers : Collaborate with process and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Evaluate Vendor Quotations : Evaluate vendor quotations and support procurement in technical bid analysis.
- FAT and Installation : Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and assist during installation & commissioning phases.
- Certification Compliance : Ensure all mechanical designs and documents are aligned with cGMP, ASME, API, and US FDA requirements.
To succeed in this role, you must have :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.5–7 years' experience in pharma / chemical plant design or EPC projects.Strong knowledge of ASME codes, API standards, piping & pressure vessel design.Familiarity with cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11 / 210 / 211 requirements for regulated markets preferred.You will thrive in a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses.
