Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Radiologist with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in diagnostic radiology to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in interpreting medical images and supporting physicians in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating various medical conditions. As a Radiologist, you will play a critical role in patient care by ensuring accurate and timely image analysis, collaborating with clinical teams, and leveraging advanced imaging technologies to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
  • Provide accurate, concise, and timely radiological reports for referring physicians.
  • Identify abnormalities, diseases, and conditions to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Perform image-guided procedures when required, such as biopsies or drainages.
  • Patient Care & Consultation
  • Interact with patients to explain procedures, ensure comfort, and answer queries.
  • Counsel patients on the importance and outcomes of imaging tests when required.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians and healthcare professionals to recommend appropriate imaging studies.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Operate and ensure proper use of radiology equipment and imaging technologies.
  • Ensure imaging procedures are conducted safely, following radiation protection guidelines.
  • Stay updated with advancements in radiology techniques and digital imaging systems.
  • Maintain quality assurance in radiological services, ensuring images are clear and clinically useful.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Work closely with doctors, surgeons, oncologists, cardiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Assist in multi-disciplinary meetings, contributing radiological expertise to support treatment decisions.
  • Supervise and guide radiology technicians and junior staff.
  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to medical, ethical, and legal standards in radiology practice.
  • Maintain accurate records of imaging studies and patient reports in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Research & Development
  • Participate in clinical research and academic activities when applicable.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the radiology department.
  • Engage in training programs, seminars, and workshops to enhance professional knowledge.

Skills & Qualifications

  • MBBS with MD / DNB in Radiology from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2+ years of post-qualification experience in radiology.
  • Strong expertise in interpreting imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Mammography .
  • Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and digital imaging.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients and medical staff.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple imaging cases.
