Senior Cloudera Developer

Candidate should be able to :

Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate cluster issues using a variety of open source and proprietary toolsets.

Design, deploy, automate, maintain and manage cloud-based or on-prem production systems, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems.

Work as part of an operational team and participate in and provide expertise to the development teams to troubleshoot known issues.

Perform an upgrade of the current Hadoop cluster to a higher version

Perform operating the system, service level, and application updates, patches for Hadoop Environments

Suggest architecture improvements, recommending process improvements

Ensuring critical system security is using best fit for purpose security solutions.

Align architecture with business requirements.

Evaluate and propose new tools and technologies to meet the needs of the organization.

System troubleshooting and problem-solving across cloud platforms and application domains.

Implementation and ongoing administration of Hadoop implementations at client sites or in the cloud. Also involves upgrading Hadoop platforms

Candidate should have :

Experience with working with workloads in the Hadoop platforms and securing Hadoop clusters

Excellent understanding of Python (3+ Years)

Excellent ability to gather and track requirements

Strong experience with creating, optimizing, and administering platforms (Cloud or on-premise) Hadoop platforms

Knowledge and experience with at least 2 Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

IaC experience with Terraform / Ansible / CloudFormation... (2-3 Years)

DevOps experience; ie.. (Git + CI / CD + IaC)

5+ years of experience in Hadoop administration (preferably Cloudera), architecture, and deployments.
