Job Summary

We are looking for a Structural Engineer Trainee to join our team at Kochi. As a trainee, you will assist with structural calculations, learn how to use tools like ANSYS or Dlubal RFEM, and participate in design tasks for steel structures and sea fastening solutions. This role is ideal for aspiring engineers eager to develop foundational skills in structural engineering while contributing to real-world projects.

Job Description

Assisting in performing structural calculations using software like, ANSYS / Dlubal RFEM.

Generating FE calculation models of heavy lift vessels using ANSYS / Dlubal RFEM.

Participate in the design of steel structures, sea fastening calculations and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering or any other relevant engineering disciplines.

Strong academic background in structural mechanics and engineering principles.

Basic knowledge of any FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Dlubal RFEM) have added advantage

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree in Naval Architecture / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering or any other relevant engineering disciplines.

Familiarity with steel structure design or maritime / offshore engineering.

Coursework or project experience in structural design or analysis.

Knowledge in ANSYS / Dlubal RFEM.

Programming knowledge (python, excel vba or similar).

Ability to analyze basic structural problems and propose logical solutions.
