Product Planning
Understand the trends prevailing in the international market and customize the same to suit the needs of the domestic market
Align buy with the plan and drive the sales, margin and inventory for the category as per the budget
Ensure range presentation is submitted to the concerned stakeholders at defined period
Define min max and inner / outer carton quantities and planogram the new ranges and concepts based on stock density
Initiate buying as per OTB and ensure timely delivery and availability of right stocks at the store
Timely and efficient implementation of buying and seasonal calendar
Ensure on time orders, re-orders are aligned to the financial norms
Manage end to end process of product PO, confirmations, inspections, shipments and deliveries
Prepare FABs and training module for assigned category
Product Presentation
Ensure timely implementation of the planograms
Coordinate with the design team and vendors for the right packaging of the product
Coordinate product availability for photo shoots, and products to be in the floor that are in catalogue
Product Performance
Track sales performance for category post launch and take required action
Regularly collect and analyze product feedback during store visits and sell through reports
Conduct periodic surveys to understand customer behavior, competition mapping and arrive at strategy pricing
Monitor the ageing of stock with reference to overall stock holding as per defined norms
Analyze and make recommendations for space planning to ensure the SPF and MPF for the department is in line with concept performance
Work closely with Planning and MC, VM, Designer, Graphic designer to translate category goals on the floor and for adequate stock availability on the floor
Relationship management
Manage relationships with brand partners, vendors, retail and planning team
Manage internal relationships for smoother implementation of business process
