Job Title : Java Backend Lead Developer

Location : Bengaluru

Experience : 7+ Years

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners Preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a Java Backend Lead Developer who has strong command over Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), deep technical expertise in Java and microservices architecture, and a proven ability to design and lead backend systems.

This role involves hands-on coding, mentoring developers, and driving technical excellence in scalable system design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services using Java / Spring Boot / Microservices.
  • Apply DSA and system design principles to build efficient, high-performance solutions.
  • Mentor and guide a small team of backend engineers; perform design and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end delivery.
  • Define best practices in coding, design patterns, and CI / CD automation.
  • Own critical backend modules — ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide quick resolutions.

Technical Skills Required

  • Core Java 8+, Multithreading, Collections, OOPs, Exception Handling.
  • Excellent understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) – strong coding and problem-solving ability is mandatory.
  • Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture – hands-on implementation experience.
  • Database Expertise : MySQL / PostgreSQL / NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Messaging Queues : Kafka / RabbitMQ (preferred).
  • Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
  • Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance tuning.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Passion for clean, testable, and maintainable code.

    • Eligibility

  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
  • Must have strong DSA and problem-solving skills (coding test will be part of selection).
  • Should be an immediate joiner or have a maximum notice period of 15 days.
