Job descriptionDesign and develop automotive plastic components (interior and exterior trims) in line with OEM standards and best practices. Ensure designs meet manufacturability, quality, and cost requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product validation , tooling , and production readiness activities. Participate in design reviews and ensure timely delivery of 3D / 2D design data and documentation.
Position : Design Engineer – Interior / Exterior Plastic Trims
Experience : 4–10 Years
Location : Pune (Onsite)
Joining : Immediate to 15 Days
Key Skills :
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 / V6 (Part Design, Surface Modeling, Assembly, and Drafting)
- Strong experience in plastic product design for automotive interior and exterior trims
- Sound knowledge of injection molding processes and manufacturing feasibility
- Solid understanding of GD&T and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles
- Excellent communication , problem-solving , and team collaboration skills
Qualification :
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production Engineering
